Le Cèdre is a mansion typically Touraine, built in tufa stone at about 1850. The property of 3200 m² bordered by the river Echandon is totally closed and secured. The garden, traversed by a waterway, has beautiful trees including a centenary cedar under which you can enjoy the sweetness of the seasons in the Loire Valley.

The house of 380 m² has undergone a complete and neat restoration.
The decoration is refined, the rooms are spacious, the 6 bedrooms with each its bathroom (or shower) and private WC, can receive 12 to 14 people. The position of the property next to the pretty village of Tauxigny ensures tranquility and calm.

The rental includes all charges (water, electricity, gas, linen and towels, beds are made at arrival, wood for the fireplace) end of stay cleaning. Only the tourist tax is in addition as well as heating costs in the winter period.
At disposal, high chairs, travel cots, changing tables for 2 babies.

Tauxigny

Tauxigny situated at midway between Tours and Loches is a charming village which conceales remarkable buildings : church of the XII century, old washhouse, castle of XVI and XVII….. At the village : tennis, riding school, astronomical observatory. At a few kilometers : swimming pools, canoe, golf courses.
In the surroundings, Gallo-Roman remains are still visible. Several water mills line the banks of the river Echandon. Taking advantage of the sky’s purity, an astronomical observatory is dominating the valley.

The discovery of the Loire Valley (UNESCO world heritage) : Le Cèdre is located in the heart of the Loire Castles (Amboise, Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau, Blois, Loches, Chinon….), the gardens (Villandry, Chaumont-sur-Loire, Valmer). You’ll discover the residences and museums of Leonardo da Vinci, Ronsard, Rabelais and of course Balzac, as well as the vineyards of Chinon, Bourgeuil, Vouvray and Montlouis. For young and old, you can visit Tours, the Basilica Saint-Martin, the museums and the historic Tours, the famous Zoo-park of Beauval in Saint Aignan, the Futuroscope in Poitiers…. And above all, you should walk along the wonderful shores of the Loire, Cher or Vienne. All these proposals are situated at less than 80 km from Tauxigny.
